Let's Work
Implementation of legal regulations and wastewater management systems from the aspect of sustainable development in order to protect the environment.
2019/2021
Association "3e" and the Network of MINS inspectors in cooperation with Naleda and USAID, due to the understanding of current needs, jointly launched an initiative to protect and preserve water and waterways that are threatened by complete pollution. Wastewater treatment plays an increasingly important role because the amount of drinking water on the planet is decreasing. That is why the value of the resources we protect is higher than usual, and the need to preserve them is greater than ever.
The goals of the project are:
-
Improving the efficiency of inspection supervision, which is possible by lowering the competence to the level of local self-government while strengthening the capacity of competent institutions.
-
Regular updating of the pollutant register, at the national and local level.
-
Activation of the Green Fund of the Republic of Serbia, which is provided for in the Law on Environmental Protection and should be fully operationalized by increasing the funds paid into it and using them for environmental protection projects.
-
Control and clear insight into companies that discharge wastewater into the recipient, improvement and tightening of the penal policy, more intensive inspections, supervision and control of laboratories, i.e., determining the reliability of data on the content of pollutants in wastewater.
