The project was implemented in order to educate the local self-governments of 10 municipalities of the city of Belgrade.

The education consisted of lectures by experts related to water protection and waste water management, legal regulations and ways to solve sanitary waste water problems, in order to influence the local community's awareness of water and environmental protection.

The project enables faster development of local self-governments, construction of communal infrastructure and better quality of life within the community, because in the future he will be able to apply the acquired knowledge, which is in the function of raising the quality and standard of life, preserving health and the environment. At the same time, through capacity building, it will be possible to strengthen urban planning, commercial and industrial construction of facilities in the service of strengthening the material status of local communities and residents as individuals.
